PHP Developer (m/f/d) - relocation
Our partner is looking for a PHP Developer (m/f/d) with fluent German to join their team. This is a full-time permanent position onsite in Münster, Essen, Germany.
Relocation from abroad is possible. We will take care of your visa application and relocation to Germany. Your family members (spouse, children under 18 years old) will get a visa as well.
Your responsibilities:
- Enhance our high-frequency backend services using PHP 8.1 and Laminas/Mezzio
- Develop high-performance database queries and manage migrations with Doctrine and MySQL8
- Collaborate with IT and product management teams to design and implement innovative product features
- Expand our automated release process, including continuous integration, quality assurance through unit testing, and fully automated test systems
- Contribute your knowledge to the software development team
Required qualifications:
- Initial relevant professional experience
- Some experience with object-oriented programming in PHP
- Familiarity with MySQL and a widely used PHP framework
- Strong quality focus – you work independently and are solution-driven
- Commitment to clean code and maintaining high code standards
- Team-oriented and communicative, enjoying collaborative work
- Passion for modern, high-performance applications in complex environments
- Drive to continuously expand your knowledge and share it with your team
- Fluent German (C1), English (C1)
