Team Leader Software Development (m/f/d) - relocation
Our partner is looking for a Team leader Software Development (m/f/d) with fluent German to join their team. This is a full-time permanent position onsite in Essen, Germany.
Relocation from abroad is possible. We will take care of your visa application and relocation to Germany. Your family members (spouse, children under 18 years old) will get a visa as well.
Your responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a full-stack development team.
- Oversee your product area, contributing to long-term success.
- Design system architecture and tech stack.
- Manage projects and serve as the primary technical contact for product management.
- Improve development and CI processes to boost software quality.
- Mentor your team and support their development.
Required qualifications:
- A degree in IT (computer science, business informatics, etc.) or IT specialist training.
- Some experience in team leadership is a plus.
- Agile mindset, hands-on approach, and enthusiasm for coding.
- Strong object-oriented design skills and expertise in at least one object-oriented language.
- Familiarity with design patterns, SOLID principles, and unit testing.
- You lead by example, setting high coding standards and encouraging your team to find the best solutions.
- Ideally, experience with continuous integration, delivery, and a DevOps mindset.
- Fluent German (C1), English (C1).
