Web Product Analyst (m/f/d)

Our partner, a successful online portal, is looking for a Web Product Analyst (m/f/d) to join their customer team in Munich, Berlin, or Constance.

Relocation from abroad is possible. We will take care of your visa application and relocation to Germany. Your family members (spouse, children under 18 years old) will get a visa as well.

Your responsibilities:

• As a Tracking Expert, you will be the central contact for all queries related to tracking & analytics setup for our web and app products
• Develop existing tracking standards further, create new tracking concepts and guidelines, manage implementation through the Tag Manager independently, and maintain a sharp focus on data quality
• Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Editorial teams to define KPIs, tracking, implementation, analysis, and reporting requirements
• Proactively generate analyses and dashboards to facilitate data-driven business decisions
• Regularly conduct A/B tests with Product Owners and derive product development recommendations from them

Required qualifications:

• Completed degree with a data focus, e.g., Informatics, Data Science, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, etc.
• Relevant and profound professional experience as a Digital Analyst in web and app tracking projects, preferably from a digital publisher, a digital agency, or an e-commerce company
• Strong knowledge of analytics and tag management solutions, especially Google Firebase and Google Analytics. Familiar with GA4, Data Layer, Tag Manager, and Server-Side
• Experience with A/B testing tools (e.g., Optimizely) and data visualization tools (e.g., Data Studio, Tableau)
• Programming skills in Javascript and knowledge of BigQuery, SQL, HTML, CSS are a plus
• A strong affinity for numbers, analytical skills, and understanding of complex as well as economic interrelationships
• Proficiency in English, oral and written (C1)
