(Senior) Quality Assurance Engineer (m/f/d) - relocation

Our partner, a successful company in the Internet Publishing sector, is looking for a (Senior) Quality Assurance Engineer (m/f/d) to drive the development of its digital platform in the area of financial products. This is a full-time, permanent position on-site in Munich, Germany (partial work from home is possible).

Relocation from abroad is possible. We will take care of your visa application and relocation to Germany. Your family members (spouse, children under 18 years old) will get a visa as well.

Your responsibilities:

  • As part of the team, you will be responsible to ensure the quality assurance of the company’s customer-facing cross-device and back-office applications
  • Analyzing functional requirements to develop suitable test scenarios
  • Collaborating closely with product management and IT teams to create and maintain test plans and test cases
  • Continuously identify opportunities for improvement from a user perspective
  • Playing a key role in enhancing quality awareness within the team and actively participating in the optimization of our existing QA process

Required qualifications:

  • Professional experience in quality assurance of software projects
  • Hands-on experience with test automation for web applications, utilizing tools such as Java, Selenium and WebDrive
  • Expertise in mobile automation with tools like Appium is a valuable asset
  • Eager to take ownership
  • Possess a high level of awareness, logical thinking, a constant desire to learn, strong communication skills and a collaborative team-oriented mindset
  • Strong knowledge of English, German is a plus

You would be working with: Java 17, Selenium, WebDriver/Appium, PageObjects, TestNG, Maven, Jenkins, Jira, Bitbucket, Slack, Confluence and many others.
